What a finished display looks like

Westlake is small, largely gated, and built at estate scale. Most homes sit well back from the road on acreage, with stone and slate rooflines that run far longer than a typical house. Two things shape every display here: getting installers through the gate cleanly, and designing for a house the street barely sees.
Gate access is arranged before install day. Vaquero and several Westlake communities clear vendors in advance. We handle the access list, the arrival window and installer details ahead of time, so nobody at your gate is managing a visit they were not told about.
The street sees the drive, not the roof. Long setbacks and mature live oaks mean roofline lighting alone can disappear from the road. Wrapped oaks along the drive, lit entry columns and pathway lighting carry the display from the gate to the front door.
Stone, slate and steep pitches. Westlake estates lean on limestone, stucco, slate and standing-seam metal, often with steep multi-level roofs. Everything is clipped to the trim, gutters and ridge — no fastener goes into a roof surface — and the design follows the real geometry rather than forcing a template across it.
Rear elevations are part of the display. On golf and hillside lots the back of the house, the pool and the outdoor living space are their own view, and often the one guests spend the evening looking at. Where that applies we design both sides rather than leaving the back dark.

Westlake questions
Yes. Vendor access is arranged before install day — we submit the installer details and the arrival window in advance so the gate is expecting us. It is a normal part of scheduling in Westlake, not something you need to chase.
No. Nothing is nailed, stapled or screwed into slate, tile or stone. Clips are chosen for the surface they sit on, and when the lights come down in January there is nothing to patch.
That is the most common situation in Westlake, and it is solved with layers rather than more roofline. Wrapped oaks down the drive, lit columns at the entry and pathway lighting bring the display forward so it starts where people actually see it.
What you are promised
Design, lights, installation, service all season, January takedown and storage all sit inside the number you are quoted. Nothing is added later.
Everything is clipped to the roofline, gutters and trim. No nails, no staples, no screws, and nothing to patch when it comes down.
Bulbs, timers, wind and storm damage. Call or text us and we come out — service is unlimited all season and there is no per-visit charge.
We take it down, label it by section and store it until next season. Your garage stays empty and your weekend stays yours.
