Big lots swallow a roofline. When a house sits a long way back, a single line of roof lighting gets small fast. Wrapped trees near the road, lit fence lines and driveway edges put light where it can be seen before a car reaches the house.
Mature oaks are the feature. Colleyville's post oaks and live oaks are often wider than the house. Wrapping trunks and lower limbs turns them into the centerpiece, and it is frequently the single biggest visual upgrade on the property.
Brick and stone fronts need the right clips. Most homes here are full brick or stone with composition or tile roofs. Everything attaches to the gutters, shingles and trim with clips made for the surface — no nails in mortar, no holes in stone, nothing to patch in January.
